les citadines

Their candles are meticulously handcrafted, from wax to wick to fragrance, in their Montreal atelier. Each step of the production has been carefully developed, during the creation process, in their quest to make the perfect candle, the one that mixes into your daily lives, to the point that you just can't live without it.

The delicate perfume blends of their candles provide a rich fragrance that gently fills the room. They are crafted using the highest quality materials: a premium soy wax blend, precious perfumes sourced in Grasse and the finest wicks, to provide the ultimate olfactory and visual experience.

And since Les Citadines values your wellness and want your home to remain a toxin-free zone, their conscious creations contain no parabens, no sulfates, no phtalates, no synthetic dyes and are cruelty-free.

Les Citadines are risk-takers and free-spirited creators. Intuitive and innovative. We craft what we love because we know you'll love it too.

GHARYAN

Sourced from the Cap Bon peninsula in Tunisia, GHARYAN Stoneware starts its life as pure, mineral-rich clay fed by the azure depths of the Mediterranean sea. As an area steeped in the deeply ancient tradition of pottery, expert craftsmen have lived for generations among the citrus, roses, vines and jasmines in the gardens of Cap Bon, passing down thousands of years of pure artistry, hand-to-hand, to the artisans that continue to create our stoneware pieces today.

Fired at heats exceeding 1200°C, our Stoneware is naturally heat and shatter resistant, microwave safe, dishwasher safe and completely free of toxic heavy metals (like cadmium and lead) and carcinogens found in other, less robust, ceramic forms.

“At Gharyan, we believe in sustainable and fair trade. We only work with pairs that share our values. All of our products are made in Tunisia where it's guaranteed that workers benefit from all their rights: Social insurances, 8 hours work/day, 5 days/week, enrollment with the Tunisian National Labour Union, safe work conditions, no child labour, no labour exploitation,...”

Experience functional beauty, formed from nature.
